A quaint, rural, 2 bedroomed coastal cottage that can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons, and up to 2 well behaved dogs

A cottage for all seasons situated in the heart of the glorious Llŷn Peninsula on the north west Wales coast. Some 3.3 miles west of the cosmopolitan, bustling seaside village of Abersoch with its numerous restaurants, bars, shops and wonderful sandy beaches and 1 mile east of the magnificent 3 mile stretch of coastline known as Porth Neigwl (Hells Mouth) famous for its surf and wonderful unspoilt location.

Glan Soch Cottage is an idyllic, romantic retreat for couples but is spacious enough for a happy family holiday.

Whilst staying at Glan Soch Cottage the picturesque villages of Llanengan and Llangian are only a mile or so away and the fabulous locations and beaches of Llanbedrog, Aberdaron, Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn, Porthdinllaen, Nant Gwrtheyrn, Porthor / Whistling Sands and Porth Ceiriad are only a short drive, cycle or ramble away.

We keep coming back!

Just completed our tenth stay at Glan Soch Cottage and have already booked for next year. Why do we keep coming? Well, the scenery on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula helps, but it's just as much about comfort, cosiness, spaciousness, fantastic beds, two bathrooms, and secure outside space for our dog - we love it all. Emma & Elwyn are super hosts, discreet, but always available if needed. What more could you want?

Highly Recommended

A charming cottage, spotlessly clean, quiet and private. It is tastefully decorated and well equipped in the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. It is warm and the wood burner makes it very cosy. The owners are friendly and helpful. The local pub in Llanengan serves good food. The property is highly recommended.

Perfect if you enjoy peace

Our second stay at Glan Soch, the first being 2 years ago. It is my favourite holiday cottage of all time; just a beautiful home from home with everything you could need in a stunning location. Perfect if you enjoy peace and tranquillity. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter, we love the beaches in this area and the choice of restaurants and pubs to eat out in is many and varied. Emma and Elwyn are perfect hosts, there if you need them but never intrusive. We hope to visit again in the future.

Emma and Elwyn were great

A fantastic cottage, beautifully decorated in a lovely location near to Hell’s Mouth beach. The hosts Emma and Elwyn were great and could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The layout of the cottage works really well, with spacious rooms and has very nice private patio area. Would highly recommend it! We hope to go back soon.

Glan Soch is the best

Excellent location for car access to whole of Pen Llyn with privacy and tranquility. Superb hosts and facilities. If you want close to Abersoch and pure stress free relaxation Glan Soch is the best.

This place is magical...

Of all the places we have stayed, Glan Soch stands out in so many ways. From the very warm welcome from the owners ,to our first steps into the Cottage we were blown away. This place is magical in that there is a wonderful warm welcoming atmosphere that completely envelops you. If you want to just rest ,relax and escape the world then this is the place to just snuggle on the sofa and enjoy one of the many books available

The cottage lies on a popular cycle route and is within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and the Llŷn/ Wales Coast Path. Glan Soch Cottage is the perfect getaway for people of all ages and walks of life from artists, ramblers, surfers, cyclists, sailors, stargazers to dog walkers.

A place to escape the hustle and bustle of busy daily life, sit on a bench, drink in the tranquillity, read a book and later in the day light the BBQ, watch the sun go down, gaze at the stars and maybe catch a glimpse of our resident barn owls. In the cooler months snuggle up in front of a roaring log fire.

Dog Friendly

Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at Glan Soch Cottage by prior arrangement. Numbers are limited according to size/breed. Dogs must be of a sociable and friendly nature as we have pets of our own.

Charge of £40 per dog.

DOGS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE COTTAGE AT ANY TIME

We have a good tried and tested list of dog friendly establishments should you fancy a meal out etc in our information folder in the cottage.
